The Agroecotechnology Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, is one of Indonesia's leading programs, focusing on the integration of agricultural science, ecology, and sustainable technology. Established in 2008, it has produced numerous graduates who have excelled both domestically and internationally, making Agroecotechnology a pioneer and reference in its field. With the "Unggul" accreditation from BAN-PT, the Agroecotechnology Study Program is ready to accept students from across the archipelago and abroad through the Regular (SNBP, SNBT) and Independent pathways.
Topics covered include Crop Production Systems, Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition Management, Sustainable Crop Protection (Pests and Diseases), Agricultural Biotechnology, Agroecology and Permaculture, Plant Breeding, Post-Harvest Technology, Precision Agriculture based on Smart Farming and the Internet of Things (IoT), Geospatial Technology for Agriculture, Environmental Impact Analysis, and various agroecotechnology applications, including (Plantation Management, Land Conservation, Modern Agribusiness, Agroecosystem Management, and Climate Change Mitigation in the Agricultural Sector).
The Agroecotechnology Study Program is committed to producing graduates with competencies as Agroecotechnology Experts (Agronomists/Agroecologists) capable of applying the latest technological innovations to address issues of food security, environmental degradation, and agricultural sustainability, earning a Bachelor of Agriculture (S.P.) degree. Agroecotechnology graduates have been widely employed by various government and private institutions, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the National Research Institute (BRIN), national and foreign private plantation companies, agrotechnology startups, environmental NGOs, banks, and as sociopreneurs in modern agriculture.
