Vision, Mision, and Goals

Vision:

  1. To establish an Agroecotechnology Undergraduate Program that produces superior, independent, and cultured graduates based on local wisdom and modern, sustainable agricultural technology.
  2. The vision of the Agroecotechnology Study Program is derived from the vision of Udayana University (Unud): to establish a higher education institution that produces superior, independent, and cultured human resources.
  3. The study program will become a center for agricultural education, research, and development to produce superior human resources. This means that graduates will possess high competence, competitiveness (locally, nationally, and globally), and be wise in developing their knowledge to enhance the dignity of the nation and state, as well as humanity in general. This can be achieved, among other things, through the establishment of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) Curriculum policy, National Higher Education Standards based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), and the implementation of the learning process using IT-based student-centered learning methods.
  4. The study program will become a center for agricultural education, research, and development to produce independent human resources. This means that graduates will possess resilient personalities and the ability to interact with a dynamically evolving environment. The approach to achieving independence is implemented through strengthening soft skills assessments, field practice, and student involvement in problem-solving, as well as providing students with the right to independent learning outside their study program for a maximum of three semesters through various activities.
  5. The study program serves as a center for agricultural education, research, and development to produce cultured human resources. This means that graduates possess sensitivity and a discerning conscience and are able to utilize the noble values ??of local culture that are universal in nature to interact within society. These noble values ??are based on the concept of three balances in life (Tri Hita Karana), including thought, speech, and action (Tri Kaya Parisudha), and other concepts derived from Balinese culture.

Mission:

To achieve the established Vision of the Study Program, the Mission of the Agroecotechnology Study Program is formulated as follows:

  1. To educate students to become superior, independent, cultured, and globally competitive graduates in the field of agroecotechnology based on local wisdom.
  2. To develop modern and sustainable agroecotechnology science and technology research based on local wisdom.
  3. To understand and implement community service and dedication in accordance with developments in science and technology.
  4. To establish ongoing collaborations with the government, research institutions, the business world, and the global community.
  5. To improve the quality of human resources, infrastructure, and organizational management effectiveness of the Agroecotechnology Study Program.

Goals:

To achieve the established Study Program Goals, the Agroecotechnology Study Program Goals are formulated as follows:

  1. To produce graduates who meet the competencies as agricultural practitioners, managers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and educators with broad insight, skills, personality, and high integrity, grounded in knowledge and faith, and who uphold Indonesian culture.
  2. To produce research to increase agricultural production sustainably by applying modern and sustainable Agroecotechnology science and technology based on local wisdom.
  3. To provide community service and dedication in accordance with developments in science and technology.
  4. To contribute to agricultural development through collaboration at the local, national, and global levels.
  5. The realization of reliable and quality human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure and effective and efficient management.
