DENPASAR, August 7, 2026 — The Agroecotechnology Undergraduate Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (FP Unud), held an internal coordination meeting at the Sudirman Campus Senate Meeting Room on Friday (August 7). Led by the Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Ida Ayu Putri Darmawati, S.P., M.Si., the meeting addressed academic readiness for the upcoming semester, learning evaluations, the Mandatory Independent Internship scheme, and the acceleration of study program accreditation document preparation.

Lecture Readiness and Student Specializations

Ahead of the lecture period (August 10 – December 19, 2026) and the course registration (KRS) period (August 10–14), the study program reported the admission of 150 new students for 2026, bringing the total student body to 618. For the 2022 cohort, the on-time graduation rate was recorded at 64.10%. Additionally, the allocation of teaching duties and student specialization concentrations—based on the FP 2025 Academic Guidelines SOP—has been finalized as follows:

Soil Science and Environment: 50 students

Agronomy and Horticulture: 37 students

Plant Protection: 35 students

Agricultural Biotechnology: 13 students

Improving the Quality of Lecturer Evaluations

The Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) report on learning for the Even Semester of 2025/2026 indicates a consistent rise in student satisfaction from the pre-midterm exam period to the post-midterm period. Courses incorporating practical sessions received the highest ratings, particularly regarding opportunities for Q&A and the lecturers' ability to connect course materials. Strengthening the Mandatory Independent Internship Program (Impactful Campus Initiative)

In support of the faculty leadership's directive to implement the "Impactful Campus" scheme, 86 seventh-semester students are required to participate in the Mandatory Independent Internship program (aligned with Key Performance Indicator/IKU 3), commencing in early September 2026. The MBKM Program Coordinator, Wisma Yudha, announced that comprehensive briefings for students and academic supervisors would be held in mid-August to align understanding regarding placement locations and course credit conversion.

Accreditation Progress and Alumni Services

Regarding accreditation preparations, Ms. Agung Kesumadewi reported that 41 out of 46 LKPS (Study Program Performance Report) tables have been completed. Current efforts are focused on validating Course Learning Outcomes (CPL) based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, ensuring the completeness of laboratory logbooks, and integrating research and community service activities undertaken by the permanent teaching staff (DTPS).

At the conclusion of the session, the quality assurance and tracer study team urged faculty members to actively encourage alumni to complete the tracer study—which currently has a response rate of only 52%—as part of the commitment to improving the quality of the study program's administrative and academic services.
